Join Elaine and Noah on Sunday, September 22nd from 9am-3:30pm for an insightful training that will deepen your understanding of the Enneagram, and offer strategies on how to use it in your practice as a mental health professional.
The first four hours of this training will be an introduction to all Nine Types of the Enneagram. From 1-1:30pm we’ll take a short break and then continue with 2 hours of instruction and discussion specifically designed for therapists, counselors, social workers, and interns to explore the Enneagram through the shared lens of helping professions. **If you’re already using the Enneagram in your practice, and you want to join us from 1:30-3:30 only, send us an email.**
The Enneagram of Personality is a psychological system that accurately describes nine different personality types in non-judgmental terms. Knowing your client’s type gives you deep insight around their strengths, avoidances, and triggers, along with the motivating forces behind their thinking, feelings and behavior—and ultimately a complete interconnected overview of their character structure. If you want to see your clients more clearly than ever, and understand what your own type brings to the therapeutic space, this workshop is for you.
There’s a lot that can be said about the Enneagram in an introductory workshop, so please bring whatever questions you may have so we can tailor the material to your interests. This workshop will be a combination of lecture, discussion, and Q&A so that together we can dig into the exact information you need for your development as a mental health professional.
In this workshop, you will:
Discover the strengths, motivations, and challenges of all nine types
Identify your own type and learn about type-specific issues that may be influencing your work as a therapist
Learn how the Enneagram can deepen your work with individuals, couples, and families in therapy
Explore how type differences may show up in the therapeutic relationship itself
Have the opportunity to bring up any questions about the Enneagram for discussion and further exploration
